New Graduates of Didactic Programs in Dietetics (DPD) Scholarship
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a graduate of the most recent graduating class from an ACEND accredited undergraduate DPD program.
- Meet all of the admissions requirements for the Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS graduate online program to which they are applying.
- State their intention to apply to an ACEND accredited dietetic internship program within 12 months of completing their undergraduate DPD program.
Benefit:
- Applicants who are accepted to an Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS online graduate program and meet the above requirements may be eligible for a 7.5% tuition-only scholarship for courses tank prior to achieving acceptance into an ACEND accredited dietetic internship program.
- Applicants who subsequently achieve acceptance to an Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS dietetic internship partner program will receive a 15% tuition-only scholarship upon providing proof that they accepted their place in the partner program.
- Applicants who achieve acceptance to a non-Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS dietetic internship partner program may apply to continue receiving a 7.5% tuition-only scholarship.
Requirements for Continuation of Scholarship:
- Maintain continuous enrollment in the Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS online graduate program in which they are enrolled.
- Maintain the minimum course grades and minimum GPA as required by the Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS online graduate program in which they are enrolled.
- Provide proof of application to an ACEND accredited dietetic internship program within 12 months of competing their undergraduate DPD program.
- Applicants who achieve acceptance to an Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS dietetic internship partner program must provide proof of acceptance to the partner program in order to have their scholarship increased to a 15% tuition-only scholarship.
- Students who do not maintain the minimum course grades and minimum GPA as required by the Âé¶¹Ó°ÒôMS online graduate program in which they are enrolled will forfeit their scholarship effective the beginning of the quarter after they are no longer in compliance.
