Bradley Cannon, PharmD, joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor and Director of Experiential Education in October of 2014. For the past 20 years, Dr. Cannon has held an academic appointment at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, where he worked as a clinician educator, as well as a Coordinator in the Office of Academic Programs. Upon completing a Faculty Development Fellowship, he held a joint appointment with the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, Department of Medical Education, and worked to establish interprofessional educational opportunities, as well as develop a residency teaching program for pharmacy practice residents. Throughout his career, Dr. Cannon has been recognized for his teaching excellence, and has received numerous teaching awards. He has an extensive background in mentoring and instructional design, focusing primarily on faculty development and active learning. He has served as Chair of the Experiential Education Section of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and in addition to AACP, is affiliated with the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society, Rho Chi Society, and the Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists.
