Dr. King has been a CRNA since 2016. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa (2020), a Master of Nurse Anesthesia from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota (2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana (2010). Dr. King brings leadership experience to Â鶹ӰÒôMS as a prior Chief Nurse Anesthetist, Clinical Coordinator, Board Director, and Committee Chair within the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Dr. King has disseminated a multitude of scholarly works in the field of nurse anesthesiology. Among his primary research interests, Dr. King is internationally regarded as a subject matter expert in cannabis implications for perioperative and critically ill patients, as well as the social stigmatization of cannabis use in healthcare.
