Mark Alexander Grumet, DC
Director of the Center for Clinical Anatomy, Associate Professor

Dr. Grumet joined the faculty of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (Â鶹ӰÒôMS) in August 2004 and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Admissions Committee for the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. As the former owner and founder of an interdisciplinary health care practice specializing in musculoskeletal medicine, he brings more than 16 years of experience in interprofessional healthcare to his role as an educator at Â鶹ӰÒô.

In addition to his role as Assistant Professor of Basic Biomedical Sciences and Director of the Center for Clinical Anatomy, he serves as Course Director for Clinical Anatomy and Co-Course Coordinator for Lower Extremity Anatomy in the Wm. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Course Director for Summer Clinical Anatomy in the College of Health Professions at Â鶹ӰÒôMS.

He works with students in nearly every health professions program offered at the university. In 2017, Â鶹ӰÒô’s Chicago Medical School presented him with the Outstanding Faculty – Structural Sciences Award and the Most Active in Student Life Outside Classroom Award during the annual Faculty Awards Ceremony. In 2018, he was presented with the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Service by the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine for my work in Admissions.

He graduated with honors with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences and earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from National University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
