Â鶹ӰÒô Statement, June 12, 2020

Let us state this simply but strongly: Black Lives Matter.

The historic movement founded on that declaration continues to grow in both its positive influence on society and its value in moving humanity forward. In the aftermath of the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbury, Laquan McDonald and far too many others, the administration, students, faculty, scientists, staff, and alumni of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science pledge their support for Black Lives Matter, and we are allies focused on eliminating systemic racism.

The Â鶹ӰÒô community has a longstanding and long-stated commitment to core values that include diversity, civility and integrity. We vow to work both within and outside of our campus to uphold and model these values, which are the foundation of a truly equitable society -- one that secures the health, safety and well-being of all citizens.

Rosalind Franklin University is resolved to be a catalyst for change.
